Sanlam's Brief: create something irresistible that will trigger social interaction at
the Woordfees arts festival.
The Suits constructed South Africa’s first and biggest social media camera complete with cutting edge socially integrated apps. It spanned a colossal two meters high and four meters wide. The Feesflits camera gave festivalgoers the opportunity to take photos of themselves which were automatically uploaded to Facebook, This made it easy for festivalgoers to share their experience with friends.
Over the 10-day Woordfees period, more than 5000 photos were uploaded, 3000 of them tagged by festivalgoers and a phenomenal 250 000 individual friends of festivalgoers reached on social media - an unforgettable Sanlam brand experience for all.
